Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JIM) DANIEL WHITE On Sunday, January 29, 2012, Jim passed away. He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his wife Monica (Stone) White, cousins in Nova Scotia, brother-in-law Garth Stone, and a very supportive friend, Susan Tighe. Jim was born and raised in Nova Scotia and moved to Winnipeg where he met and married Monica. Jim had numerous employment experiences and employers throughout his years in Nova Scotia and Winnipeg. He loved sports, served as a baseball umpire, was an avid Winnipeg Jets and Goldeyes fan, participating as a spectator and supporter. Jim also loved dancing. He took many lessons, practiced regularly and became very proficient on the dance floor. Another passion was singing. He actively participated in several choirs including the Winnipeg Male Chorus and most recently, in the C.N.I.B. choir. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 6 at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway. Interment will take place in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6, The Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or the charity of one's choice.
