Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHOPE ALMALBIS COLOBONG On Wednesday February 1, 2012, Hope Almalbis Colobong passed away peacefully at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 44 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Redentor, daughters Ruthelle Bless and Faith Margarette, brothers, Vincent, Gaylord, Mark, Ace, Peter Lloyd and Peter Lev, sisters Rona, Myra Kim, Perla and Jo Margarette, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, as well as nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many more family and friends. Hope was born in Quezon City, Philippines on September 11, 1967. She was a high school valedictorian and an academic scholar, graduated with distinct honors and outstanding student from the Philippine School of Business Administration in 1988. Hope was a certified public accountant in the Philippines, she worked in Sunrise Craft Manila Corp and SGV Co. Hope later worked as an accountant in Palau and chief accountant and financial auditor in Pohnpei, Micronesia where she and her family lived for 12 years. Hope was a level 4 certified general accountant in Manitoba where she received a scholarship from the government. She was a bible study leader of International Christian Fellowship in Pohnpei, Micronesia. Hope and her family migrated in Winnipeg in May 2006, worked in Aboriginal People's Television Network and Manitoba Justice Public Trustee as a senior accountant. She served as a bible study leader of International Worship Centre Church. The family wishes to thank friends from International Worship Centre, Winnipeg Transit, San Agustin and Isabela Associations, International Christian Fellowship Church, Pohnpei FSM, doctors, nurses and staff of Health Sciences, Rehab, Emergency, Palliative Care and Home Care for the love and care they showed to Hope and our family. A celebration of Hope's life will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, Manitoba on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Viewing will be Thursday and Friday, February 9 and 10, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight.
