LORETA GERUBIN MACARAEG December 13, 1956 - February 5, 2012 In Loving Memory of It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Loreta Gerubin Macaraeg, on February 5, 2012 at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 55 years. Left to forever cherish her memory, her beloved husband Jose and daughter Jobelle who is the center of her life, her mother Maria, brothers Ruben, Peter, Dowing and Fabian, sisters Olivia and Nemia, nephews and nieces, grandchildren and many extended family from Winnipeg, and the Philippines as well as numerous friends. Loreta was predeceased by her father Roman and sister Helen. Special thanks to Lydia who gave her unconditional help and care during this arduous time, thanks to all her dear friends from Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home and Beacon Hill Lodge, who equally made Loreta's last days comfortable. Loreta was extremely hard working, kind hearted and always had the best interest for her family and friends. Her peculiar sense of humour will be missed. The family also wishes to thank the staff at the Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion during this difficult time. Lamay will be held Wednesday, February 8, and Thursday, February 9, 2012 with prayer vigil at 7:30 p.m. both nights at Thomson In The Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight. Funeral mass will be at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 818 Arlington St., on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 10:30 am. Interment will be at Waverley Memorial Gardens, Garden of Peace.
