Predeceased by daughter Lisa, parents, two brothers and one sister. Born in Trinidad, married Lawrence in 1954, they immigrated to Winnipeg in 1967. She was employed as a Nurse's Aid in Victoria and St. Amant Centre hospitals then worked at Walterwoods but foremost a devoted wife, mother and grandmother to all. Best known for her offbeat humour, famous cooking, constant cleaning, infectious laugh and helping everyone (family and friends), the only way to keep her still was to give her a baby to hold. She was truly a unique loving individual to anyone who had the chance to be with her. The family would like to thank all the staff at Meadowood Manor, doctors, and all the Winnipeg Health Authority staff for the wonderful care and dignity given. A Celebration of her Life will take place on Sunday, February 12 at 1:30 p.m., at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. In Lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Myrna's memory to The United Way.
