JUNE EILEEN (FROST) MACDONALD (nee SMITH) June 15, 1927 - February 3, 2012 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of June Eileen MacDonald on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the Tudor House Personal Care Home in Selkirk, MB, at the age of 84 years. Left to cherish June's memory are her children; Richard (Gail) Frost, Fran (Derwood) Mann, and Bruce (Andrea) Frost, grandchildren; Michael, Christopher, Kimberley, Kristen (John), Angela, and Bruce Jr., great-grandchildren; Zachary, Brodie, and Harrison, nephew Tony and partner Jeff of Victoria, BC. June was predeceased by her husbands; Frank L. Frost, and Donald MacDonald. June worked for many years as an administrator, and later as a medical assistant at the Health Sciences Centre. She started life anew, when she moved to Pinawa with Don and enjoyed spending hours in her garden, and traveling. On her own again, June retired to her favourite place on Earth, Gimli, MB, where she again spent countless hours enjoying her small garden and the beauty of the outdoors. She also loved singing with The New Horizons Choir and The West Shore Singers. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Tudor House in Selkirk, MB for all the kindness and support given to mom during her stay. In keeping with June's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of June may be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E.J.
