BLENDA RAEBURN (nee TOTH) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Blenda Raeburn (nee Toth) on February 8, 2012 at the St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care Centre. Left to cherish her memory are daughters Trudy Norton (Carl), Pamela McWilliams (David), granddaughters Dagney and Claudia McWilliams, brothers Joe Toth (Kay), Jerry Toth (Dianne), sister Lori Thomas, and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Blenda was predeceased by her husband Terrance Raeburn, mother Constance Odella Peterson, father John Albert Toth, sister Ielle Oleanna Rosalie Toth and brothers Iven Carol Toth and Elden Gerhart. Blenda was born in Winnipeg and raised on the Toth family farm in Ketchan, SK. From an early age Blenda attended the School for the Deaf in Saskatoon, SK until her graduation in 1961. From there she moved to Winnipeg where she met her future husband Terry. Blenda worked at Armstrong Printing and then at BW Imaging until her retirement in 2010. Blenda's greatest joys were her two granddaughters Dagney and Claudia. She loved spending time on the soccer pitch or in a school gym cheering them on or just having quiet moments knitting and crocheting with them. We would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital's surgery ward and Palliative Care Unit. Your care and compassion was greatly appreciated. A private family service will take place at Thomson In the Park on Tuesday, February 14, 2012. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada. There are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart. -Gandhi THOMSON IN THE PARK 925-1120 Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com
