Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRUTH IRENE DAUDRICH It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Ruth Irene Daudrich beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother at the age of 89 on February 14, 2012 at River Park Gardens of Winnipeg. She will be sadly missed and forever in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Despite mourning her loss, the family is encouraged that Ruth has passed over into the arms of her Lord and Savior. Ruth leaves to mourn her husband Jack (Jacob) of 71 years. Her four children and their families, Edith (Ron) Yaremkewich, Vera (John) Wiebe, Bruno Daudrich and Dave (Judi) Daudrich. Her eight grandchildren, Dennis, Sherri, Melanie (Kris), Shauna (Todd), Kyle, Michael, Derek (Kirsten) and Breanne. Her five great-grandchildren, Jackson, Lucas, Cole, Brielle and Alec. Numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth was born in Overstoneville, Manitoba. She was the thirteenth child in her family. She moved to Morris, Manitoba after marrying Jack. After the 1950 flood, Ruth and Jack moved to Winnipeg, wherein addition to dutifully raising her children she had a number of jobs including helping the elderly remain in their homes. Ruth loved to sing praises unto the Lord and play her harmonica which she taught herself to play. Ruth and Jack took numerous trips in their camper later in life to the United States where she enjoyed meeting new people everywhere they stopped. Ruth had a long and full life and Blessed are those who had the opportunity to take part in it. The family would like to thank the staff at River Park Gardens for all their love and care they provided for Ruth over the past four and a half years. A special thanks to Tina Froese who provided personal companionship for three years. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Edith, Vera, David, Bruno, Memories of Aunt Irene are special as I remember her as a woman of faith with joy in her heart, always having time for a quick story which had us laughing for joy.
