Sorry that we could not be in attendance at Larry's funeral. As a family we often think of both Joan and Larry and the wonderful times we all spent together. We especially remember the many trips that they took with my parents Mona and Ralph over the years. The trips to Europe, Austalia and the gambling trips into the States with the club. Larry missed but lovingly remembered always. - Posted by: Ralph, Gaynor and Blair (friends) on: Feb 24, 2012

We met the Jarmans in the 70's when we all lived in St James Manitoba and shared many BBQ's and swimming in our back yard pool, plus the times we had dinners at many beautiful homes of our friends. We will miss Larry as we do Joan. Helga & Al Poltaruk - Posted by: Helga & Al Poltaruk (Close Friends for Many Many Years ) on: Feb 24, 2012

Larry was good friends with my grandmother, Ethel Buchanan, who passed away last year. We always appreciated him keeping an eye out for grandma, especially when her memory began to fail. His contagious sense of humour could always lighten any situation. He will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Catherine Shorey (Stoyko) () on: Feb 18, 2012

I met Larry and Joan when we all moved into the new St. James Lions Estates approximately 10 years ago. Both Larry and Joan were very supportive in organizing the Tenants Association. After Joan's passing, Larry and I became breakfast buddies every Tuesday, either at the Big "A" or the Viscount Gort. He will be missed.
