Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAOUL DAIGNEAULT February 28, 1918 - February 15, 2012 Two weeks shortly of his 95th birthday, Raoul passed away peacefully after receiving his last rites at Foyer Valade. Rould was predeceased by his father Frank, mother Alidia, long time confidant Alice DelBlanc; brothers Teddy, Gordon, and Dennis; sisters Laura, Cecile, Teresa, and Germaine. He is survived by his brother Homer and three sisters Jean, Yvonne, Henriette and many extended family members. Raoul was the eldest of twelve children, he had many responsibilities; one that he often spoke of was making sure every family member had food on the table, specifically venison. He was very proud of being the best shooter in south eastern Manitoba. Raoul was small in stature but he had a big heart and the eye of an eagle, we are certain that he soaring in heaven at this time. Cremation has take place; a family memorial will take place in June with burial in Vassar Catholic Parish Cemetery in Raoul's hometown. Raoul was the oldest of 12 children, and he assumed many responsibilities as a young teenager. Often he would speak of those days and how it was his job to make sure that everyone of his family members had food on the table. Raoul was small in stature; however he had a big heart and the eye of an eagle. We are certain that he is soaring in heaven at this time. Cremation has taken place with a memorial service and burial taking place at a later date at the Vassar Catholic Parish in Raoul's hometown. The anniversary of your birthday and passing into the Arms of Jesus are this month. I share memories and good stories of you with friends and family often. I really miss you. Thank you for all you did for Mom for so many years. All the driving. Thank you for your patience and kindness toward all of us. I look forward to seeing you in heaven one day. I am hoping it will be when Jesus returns for us. That looks very Soon. Thank you Raoull.
