JULIA DRABYK (nee DOBROWOLSKI) The family of Julia Drabyk sadly announce the loss of our mother, grandmother and great- grandmother at the age of 91 years. Julia was born and raised in Lowland, Manitoba, with her eight siblings. At the age of 22. she married Steve and moved to Brightstone to start their family. Together they raised Ruth and Larry in the communities of Great Falls and Lac du Bonnet. Julia was an avid gardener and shared her bounty with family and friends. She was a hard worker, rising at 5:00 a.m. every morning, even in her later years. Wether it was to milk the cows, water the garden or make perogies, she was the first up and the last to bed. She will lovingly be remembered for her hugs and kisses when you walked in or out of her home. Julia's memory lives on with her daughter, Ruth; grandchildren, Cheryl (Wally), Chad (Tracy), Tricia; and great-grandchildren, Lauren and Matthew. She will also be remembered by her brother Frank (Helen) and sister-in-law, Adele, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Julia is predeceased by her husband, Steve; son, Larry, and his wife Linda; brothers Anton, Stanley, Joe, and John; sisters Louise and Helen and an infant girl. A family celebration of life and interment will be held at a later date A special thank you to the physicians and nurses at the Pinawa hospital for their kindness and care in the past few months.
