Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMIKE WOLFE It is with sadness we announce the passing of husband and father Mike Wolfe at the age of 83 years. He passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Seven Oaks Hospital. Mourning Mike's passing are Edith his wife of 59 years of marriage; daughters Linda and (Vern), Kathy (Ted), Heather (Duane); son Brian and fiancée Laurie; grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Stacy, Holly, Jenna, Cameron, Christy (Donald), Jesse, Emma; great-grandchildren Jordan and Nathan; as well as sister Helen; brothers Johnny (Ada), Pete (Doreen); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Steve. Mike was born on November 5, 1928. He resided with his family in Winnipeg for all of his life working for the Canadian Government as a grain inspector. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. Mike's garden was always a source of pride and spent many summer hours gardening. In keeping with Mike's wishes a private family remembrance will take place on Monday, February 20, 2012. The family wishes to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion.

My condolences to Mike's family. I worked with Mike for many years in Winnipeg with the Canadian Grain Commission also serving on assignment to the Northern port of Churchill Manitoba during summer shipping months.
