Linda was the very first person to befriend me when I came to Canada at the age of 13, and I always appreciated her kindness to me, and her friendship. She was truly a gentle soul, and though I did not see her (or you) often enough I always felt connected to her over these past 48 years. My deepest condolences to you, Hank, and your family. - Posted by: Shamim Brown (Friend) on: Feb 26, 2012

My deepest sympathies. Here's a poem by Linda Jo Jackson that was of great help when we lost a brother-in-law: “I’m Free” Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard him call; I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way; I found that place at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; ah yes, these things, I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full, I savoured much; good Friends, good times, a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seems all too brief; don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Life up your heart and share with me; God wanted me now, He set me free. Linda Jo Jackson - Posted by: Allison Clarke (Kevin's co-worker)) on: Feb 23, 2012
