FRED BROWN May 15, 1940 - February 21, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear friend, Fred (Freddy) Brown at the age of 71 on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Concordia Hospital. Fred was the son of the late Violet and Alex Brown. He is survived by his brother David (Annie) Brown and family of Renfrew, Ontario. Fred was a kind, happy man who sought very little in life for himself, but gave all he could of his time, love and support to his family and friends. He spent most of his life in East Elmwood, where he lived with his mother until her passing. In later years he lived with Peter and Julien Hildebrand, where he became a part of their family. Fred spoke endlessly and with delight in his voice about their recent trips to New York State, Chicago, Niagara Falls and Renfrew, Ontario to visit his brother and family. Fred was employed for numerous years at Scott National/Sysco Food Service where he made many lifetime friends, including Peter. Thank you Peter for adding to Fred's happiness in his last years. Thank you to all that visited Fred, especially Richie, Florence and Liana. Your presence brought a smile to his face. Cremation has taken place. At his request, there will be no formal service. Private burial alongside his mother will take place this summer. Rest in Peace Freddy. You will brighten up Heaven with your bright Hawaiian shirts and smile. We will miss you.
