Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID BROWNSDON September 3, 1930 - February 18, 2012 Absent from the body, present with the Lord . Peacefully at home his wife of 60 years by his side. He will be greatly missed by his wife Lois; his children Lori Kiland, Denise (Eileen), Alan; honorary son Steven Yee, and grandchildren Quinton and Halle. He is also survived by his sister Jean Gibb; Bob and Muriel Street and various nieces and nephews. Raised in Fairlight, SK, he moved to Winnipeg in 1941. He married Lois in 1952. After a brief time at Shaw Printing, he ventured on his lifelong career in 1951 with Moore Business Forms moving to Vancouver in 1979 as Western Canada Production Manager, retiring in 1990. His was actively involved refereeing hockey for 20 years in Manitoba. He was involved both in sports with his children, church and the Union Gospel Mission. Dave and Lois spent hours together with family and friends during winters in Langley and summers at the lake. He volunteered for years at the Red Cross and Langley Christmas Bureau. No service by request. Remembrance gifts can be made to the Union Gospel Mission or Langley Memorial Hospital Foundation.
