GEORGINA (JEAN) MCPHAIL (nee BROOKS) Formerly of Milton and Mississauga but originally from Manitoba. Peacefully at her residence, Bough Beeches Place, Mississauga on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the age of 83. She leaves behind sister Maxine (in Hamilton) and Adeline (in Winnipeg). Predeceased by her loving husband Don in 2001. She will be forever cherished in the hearts of her children; Rod (Sherry), Judy (Andy Brouwer), Don (Ellen) and Jeff (Laura). Jean's Grandchildren were a constant source of pride and include Brandon, Alaina, Melissa, Nick, Meaghan and Sarah. Great Nana was thrilled with the ultimate blessing of receiving each Great-Grandchild - Dannica and Luca (Alaina) and Marlie and Madelyn (Melissa). Aside from her commitment of service to the Milton District Hospital as a member of the Womens' Auxiliary for many years, our Mom spent many hours, days and months by Dad's side following his massive stroke in 1999. Her tireless love, her endless devotion towards our Father, for more than two years gave us a unique lesson about love and how when true, it endures and surpasses all things. For your selfless dedication, we are eternally thankful and impressed by your unwavering strength. Until your own end, your courage was displayed. Mom, we thank you, we love you and we will miss you being in our lives but we know that you are finally reunited with your love, our Dad, and you have waited so long. Together, forever, once more. As per Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. On this, Mom's notes are very clear. A private family service will be held. We have entrusted the care of our Mother to McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home, Milton. Thank you once again Doug and Andrew. For those who wish, expressions of sympathy to The Alzheimer Society (Halton/Hamilton) would be appreciated by the family. Letters of condolence may be left for the family at www.mckersie-kocher.ca
