Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUNE ROSE MITCHELL (nee WHITE) June Rose Mitchell passed away peacefully on Thursday, February, 16, 2012, at Dr. Andrews Pavilion in Summerland, B.C. Mom was predeceased by her husband, Jack, of 63 years; her mom and dad, Rebecca and William; her brothers William White, Tommy White; her sisters Evelyn Agerbak, Lucy Bonallo; son-in-law Gord Taylor; niece Delores Trinkl (Harold). Mom will be sadly missed by her loving children Monty (Wendy), Susan, Bill (Catherine) and Fred; many grandchildren, Jared, Michael, Monty, Matthew, Scott, Jan, Kandace, Curtis, and Beau; as well as great-grandchildren Zach, James and Sadie. She will also be dearly missed by nieces Carol (Allen), and Linda (Len); and nephews Bill (Janie) and Tom (Carol). Mom enjoyed a full life of love and joy with her husband, children and many grandchildren. One of the high points in Mom's working career was hosting a children program on CBC radio, where she was known as Auntie Eleanor. Mom and Dad enjoyed travelling together with many good memories of Grand Beach. Mom will always be remembered as the Bleached Blonde with the impeccable hair and nails. God Bless. May you rest in peace. As per Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place, with a quiet family internment to take place later in Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society.
