JEAN HOLOD It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Jean on Friday, February 24, 2012, at the age of 75 years. Mother was predeceased by her husband Maurice. Jean is survived by her children Ron (Tammy), Darlene (Peter) and Doreen (Tony)L grandchildren Aaron, Chris (Jenny), Heather (Dave) and Roslyn (Joel); great-grandchildren Logan, Madeline, Thomas and Norah; as well as her sister Verna (Gordon). Mom's entire life was family first, being a wife and mother meant the world to her. Mom and Dad raised their family in Stonewall, where they farmed for many years. Our mother loved cooking and always looked forward to family gatherings. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening and playing bingo. She was very caring and compassionate and will be greatly missed by all. Mom had moved to Winnipeg five years and where she made many friends at Delta Manor. Mom was very well liked and enjoyed the many activities in her block, playing cards and helping with their lunch program. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the first response and the emergency doctors and staff at Victoria General. Funeral service will be held at the Anglican Church in Stonewall, 1st Ave. North and 2nd St. West, on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements. 204-467-2525
