VALDEAN JEAN NEUMANN (nee HANSLEY) October 24, 1931 February 22, 2012 Peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, Valdean Neumann passed away after a lengthy illness at Grace Hospital at the age of 80 years. Valdean leaves to mourn her passing her beloved husband of 61 years of marriage, Edward; children, Diane (Bill) Tuchscherer, Ken (Monique), Don (Nancy), Rick (Cheryl), Tammy (Paul) Couillard, Wayne (Bev); grandchildren, Tara, Kristin, Paul, Chelsea, Alexia, Courtney, Brent, Travis, Troy and Danielle; two great- grandsons, Mattejas and Santiago; as well as sisters Barb Baxter, Doreen (Allan) Lowe, Janet (Ralph) O'Brien, Linda (Steve) Letniak and Betty (Ken) Martin; brother Ted (Rhoda); brothers-in-law Nick (Justine) Neumann, Rod McPherson, Jim Colvin and sisters-in-law Betty Clarke, Edith Neumann, Margaret Neumann and Bernie Neumann and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She will also be remembered by all her friends from the Over 55 Club at the St James Legion and the Seniors Club from Victoria Arms. On Friday, March 2, 2012 Valdean's Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion, St James Branch, 1755 Portage Avenue. Donations may be made in Valdean's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
