RODNEY GREGORY DENEKA 1956 - 2012 It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved son Rodney Deneka on March 1, 2012, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He will always be loved and remembered by his loving parents Jean and Greg Deneka. Cremation has taken place at Rodney's request. A celebration of his life will take place on Friday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Flowers are gratefully declined. Rodney was such a sweetheart! I knew him from Goodwill. He always kept an eye out for the books I was wanting. Or should I say, he went out of his way for me. I didn't know him well, but I saw a man who was genuinely thoughtful and kind. I (and everyone else) will miss you at Goodwill!
