ADELINE CECILIA PISKOR After a protracted illness, Adeline Piskor died peacefully on March 1, 2012. Predeceased by her husband George in 2003 after 52 years of marriage, Adeline leaves to mourn her sons Thomas and Richard, and grandchildren, Kelly and Sarah. Adeline was born in Winnipeg on December 20, 1925, daughter of Wladyslaw and Frances Ufryjewicz (Offrowich), with brothers Tony, George, Leo and Stan, who all predeceased her. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Mom was an excellent homemaker, and would always have something great cooking for her family. In addition, with her earlier experience working in the insurance industry, she was our Dad's partner in their successful business, Imperial Cleaners, in Fort Garry. Mom enjoyed all sports and was an avid golfer, curler and bowler. Mom always enjoyed her grandchildren and after her retirement she was able to devote more time to being with them. Special thanks to the staff of the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, where Adeline spent her last years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice. At her request, a service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow.
