I also met Gladys through her neighbour Betty Newton. She was a good person & will be missed here in Matlock. I know how Betty would look forward to seeing Gladys come summer & they spent a lot of time together. I looked forward to seeing them on Friday nights at bingo. She will be missed. - Posted by: Cathy Whitehead (friend) on: Mar 08, 2012

We met Gladys as she was Betty Newton's neighbour at the lake. She always made perogies for us and came to see us whenever we came from Alberta to visit Betty Newton. We know Betty will be lost without Gladys as she was such a good friend to Betty and visits back home to Wpg. will never be the same for us without our having our visits with Gladys. We loved her caring and generous nature and we will surely miss her. Our condolences to her family. She was such a wonderful person. - Posted by: Jill and Stan (Skip) Newton and Family (Son and daughter in- law of Betty Newton ) on: Mar 06, 2012

I only met Gladys a few times, but I know members of her family well. The values that she has instilled in her family are second to none, and I'm sure she must have been very proud of her children and grandchildren. I know they are very proud of her. - Posted by: Darryl Ludwig (family friend) on: Mar 05, 2012

Gladys was a kind soul. I remember her beautiful little dog (Max?) with long orange hair. She made perogies for me. She will be missed. - Posted by: Dave Rivers (Customer and friend) on: Mar 03, 2012
