DOROTHY IRENE ELIZABETH FOGELBERG (nee LAPEIRE) January 1, 1927- March 4, 2012 Peacefully with family by her side, at Grace Hospital Sunday, March 4, 2012. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Carol (Bruce) Bird, son, Ken (Linda), and grandson, Kendall Bird and nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband, Howard, parents, Jules and Julia, brothers, Emil, Gaston and Joseph, sisters, Mary, Madeline, Margaret, Bertha, Eva and grandson, Christopher. Mom was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was always concerned for the safety and well being of her family. She was a great cook, avid gardener and animal lover who enjoyed spending time with Zach and Zoey, her two favourite Shelties. Mom loved to visit Gimli where she and Dad had once enjoyed summers at the trailer park. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Grace Hospital on the third floor for their care and support, also the staff from Home Care. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held at the Grace Hospital Chapel Friday, March 9, 2012. We love and miss you Mom and look forward to the day we meet again.
