Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD DIEDRICH FUCHS It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Leonard Fuchs on February 23, 2012. Len was born on July 23, 1932 to Emil and Annie Fuchs. He leaves to mourn his four children, Patrick (Rachel), Patricia (Don), Gerald (Sue) and Sherry (Jason). six grandchildren, Ryan, Danika, Quinton, Noel, Jamie-Lea, and Tanner. He is survived by his brother Waldo (Marge), sisters Minnie, Viola, Marianne and Helen (Jake). Sisters-in-law Agatha and Evelyn. He was predeceased by both parents as well as Steve, Dick, Walter, Abe and Carl. Dad was a wonderful and kind man. He was a loving soul and could light up a room with his smile. He made friends wherever he went. He had a love for the outdoors and a passion for hunting, fishing and trapping. He worked as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. A Private family service will be held at a later time.

I remember when I babysat Patrick, Patsy and Gerald back in St Pierre so many years ago.(About 40 years). Even when your dad worked on the road at Hecla Island, blasting the rocks in the pit, loading them on the trucks to dump in the swamp area building the road to get to the Island instead of Ferry everyone had to use. (We all stayed in the construction camp). You will probably remember my brothers Emile and Robert, and my three sisters.
