ELLA HLADY (TYMCHUK) Mom passed away peacefully March 6, 2012 at the age of 88 in Boissevain, MB. She was predeceased by her husband Henry, her daughter Diane and all of her eight siblings. Mom is survived by her sons Ken (Maureen), Dennis (Debbie), four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mom's passions were her family, her garden, cooking, and bingo. She will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. on Sunday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 12 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Family Cemetery. If you wish, donations in Ella's memory can be made to Cancer Research. 586-8044

I recently was saddened to hear of Ella's passing. Ella answered my add to babysit two young boys as I worked shift work at the Care Home. Ella took good care of the boys ensuring they were fed and clean. I enjoyed visiting her home over a cup of tea. She liked to give me a tour of her garden. She often talked of her late husband and daughter. She enjoyed visits from her son, granddaughter and spoke of her vacations out west.
