She was predeceased by her precious daughter, Marilyn Robb in 1997 and her beloved husband of 57 years, Michael in 2001. Adeline was a devoted and loving mother to five children, Richard (Linda), Bernadine Brown (Brian), Marilyn Robb (Garwood), Jeffrey (Cheryl), and Jennifer Shymko (Glenn). Adeline was a mother, Babcia, and Pra Babcia who treasured the times she spent with her family and friends celebrating special events or just chatting over a cup of coffee. She was an amazing cook and she took pride in her colourful flower gardens. Her neighbours on Minnegaffe Street were friendships that she cherished forever. In her younger years she participated in various ladies' groups such as her local Sewing Circle and the C.W.L. at St. John Cantius Church. Adeline was also a Lifetime Member of the Canadian Polish Athletic Club who volunteered countless hours working at the weekly bingos. Vacations at the C.P.A.C. Gull Lake Resort were always the summer holiday that rejuvenated her for the rest of the year. She was a dedicated parishioner who enjoyed attending weekly masses and she taught the Grade 2 First Communion catechism class for several years. One of her greatest accomplishments was singing in the choir when the Pope visited Winnipeg in 1984. Adeline also leaves to mourn 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother Bernard (Bunny) Walus and Jean. Adeline requested that her pallbearers be her grandsons Paul Sobie, Adrian Brown, Blair Fenwick, Trevor and Lauren Robb, Christopher and Mark Shymko. The family would like to thank the compassionate staff at Red River Place for their loving care and attention that they provided to Mom. Although her time there was very brief, she was treated as a member of the Red River Place family . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
