GLADYS BUNTING It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Gladys Bunting (Jameson) (nee Duncan) on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the age of 90 years. Left to forever cherish Gladys' memory is her son Jim (Anne); daughter Jill (Ted); son Jay (Lynne); granddaughter Leslee (Michael); great- grandchildren Allison and Andrew; grandson Ryan (April); great-grandson Dylan; grandson Tyler (Kathy); very special niece, Noreen; step- children Joan (Ross), Doug (Shawna); grand-children Matthew and Ashleigh; Scott, Robert (Jennifer); and great-grandchildren Camryn and Lucas. She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Margaret Duncan; sister Margaret (Daisy) McCormack; husband of 38 years, Leslie Jameson; and her second husband of 17 years, Harry Bunting. In 1921 Gladys was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. She relocated to Canada at the age of 2. She married Leslie Jameson in 1941 and proceeded to have three children. Gladys took care of the house and the kids while Leslie served in the air force. When he returned they started Jameson Heating. Gladys helped with the business for several years and was very happy with Leslie and her life. When Leslie became ill she took care of him until he passed in 1979. In 1985 Gladys remarried Harry Bunting and they did lots of travelling and she was happy again for the next 17 years until Harry passed. Gladys loved to laugh. She always had a smile for you. She had a wonderful sense of humor and you just couldn't stay in a bad mood around her. Gladys loved to read and do crossword puzzles. You would never not see a crossword puzzle on her table. She loved most to spend time with her great-grandchildren. When we remember her, we will remember the laughter. In compliance with Gladys' wishes no formal Funeral Service will be held. We will be having a Come and Go Celebration of her Life on Sunday, April 15, between 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at 375 Margaret Ave., Winnipeg. Please join us to share in the celebration. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. After Glow I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways. Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before too long. And cherish those very special memories to which I belong.
