Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVIOLET NYKULAIK With deep sorrow we announce the passing of Violet Nykulaik on March 20, 2012. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1998, to whom she was married for 57 years. Remaining to forever cherish her memory are her son, George Murray and daughter-in-law Linda; sisters Olive Dracup and Ivy Hardowa, granddaughter Michelle Dent (Chad Bukoske), great-granddaughters Trinity, Kylie and Lexis Bukoske, Sheldon Dent, his mother Inge Westergaard (Curtis), and numerous nieces and nephews. Violet was born in Gull Lake, SK on October 18, 1918. She was enthusiastic and excelled in her careers, which included insurance sales, cosmetician, and she enjoyed her work in the shoe department at Sears until her retirement. After retiring, Violet and her husband spent winter months travelling to such places as Hawaii, Texas, Florida, Las Vegas, and Arizona. They enjoyed summers at their cottage at Boulder Bay near Grand Beach. Violet was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, and she will surely be missed. Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life memorial service for immediate family will be held according to her wishes. Our thanks to the caregivers of Beacon Hill Lodge and St. Boniface Hospital for their dedication, compassion and excellent level of comfort care. Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens 982-8100

We were saddened to learn today that your mom, Violet, passed away. Our mother is on seventh floor of Beacon Hill and we've known and visited with your mom over some time. She always had a smile and warm words even in her times of not great health. Thinking of you at this time. - Posted by: Colleen Olafson and Vern Bryce (Friend) on: Apr 01, 2012
