LORENE RUTH ANDERSON (nee POLLOCK) It is with deep sadness the announcing of the passing of Lorene, beloved wife of Grant Anderson, on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at 3:35 a.m., at the Health Sciences Centre. Lorene was born June 13, 1961, at the St. Boniface Hospital, growing up in Windsor Park and attending Pierre Radisson Collegiate. She had a great sense of humour, comically remarking, how ironic it would be to die in the same hospital where I was born. I sure don't go very far. She made it across the city. She loved to travel and experience new adventures, but above all she loved her friends, family and dogs. She was a great cook, whose laugh in the kitchen is already missed. Special thanks to all the staff at the Health Sciences Centre and the St. Boniface Hospital for their caring and compassion. Memorial service announcement to follow.

Lorene was a fun loving, friendly, fun to be around lady. Her wonderful sense of humour was a delight to experience. Many a great fun evening was spent with Lorene and Grant where he and I were treated to a gourmet meal prepared by Lorene. Later spending time around a wood fire, chatting and having a fun evening together. Lorene lived life to the fullest. Grant we are so sorry that Lorene is gone from your side. Life can be a place of great joy and laughter and Lorene loved to laugh, but life is a rocky road filled with rough spots followed by smoother runs, but no matter how smooth or rough your journey is inevitably peace lies at the end of the road. Lorene now has reached the peaceful part of her journey. God be with you both. - Posted by: David & Carolyn Grant (Uncle & Aunt of Grant) on: Mar 24, 2012
