SHARON MACLEAN (née MCCONKEY) With great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother, Sister, Aunt and Grandma, Sharon MacLean, on March 21, 2012. She is predeceased by her husband, Patrick MacLean, mother Blodwen Jones, mom and dad Amy and Frank McConkey. She is survived by her daughters Amanda (Warren) and Bethany (Jason), son Rhys (Alyssa), sister Noni (Willie), brother Gary (Terri), grandchildren Augusta and William. Sharon was born in Winnipeg and grew up in Elmwood. She spent many summers at Winnipeg Beach enjoying the boardwalk. Sharon was an animal lover, especially cats, earning her the name gramma cat'. Honouring Sharon's wishes, no service will be held. If friends desire, donations can be made in memory of Sharon to D'Arcy's ARC.

This is so hard, my friend. I would like to express my sincere condolences to her children. I know how much your mother loved you all. She was a true friend, my life has surely been enriched knowing her. She taught me alot of important things in life. I will never forget, you my sweet dear friend.
