Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH JANE NORDAL (nee MONKMAN) On March 25, 2012, after a great struggle, Elizabeth Jane Nordal went home to her Lord. She leaves behind her daughter Janice (Jason) Chase from Mapleridge, B.C.; her sons Gerald (Terry) Lavallee from Swan River, MB, Ronald Lavallee of Ashern, MB, Mickeal (Cheryl) Nordal from Camper, MB, and Larry (Teri) Nordal from Winnipeg, MB; 13 grandchildren Sean (Tara), Lacey, Laurel, Shyla (Tyler), Lauren (Dave), Caitlyn, Candace, Wade, Ryan, MacKenzie, Jade, Caitlyn and Jasmine; three great-grandchildren Jacob, Bria and Ava; two sisters Carol (Gerald) Sigurdson and Anna (Nick) Forte; four brothers James, Raymond (Anastasia), Tom (Sharon) and Phillip (Margaret); one sister-in-law Judy Monkman, along with her friends Barney and Baby. Liz was born on November 25, 1939, to Janita and Edward Monkman. She was predeceased by her parents and three brothers Alfred, Alec and Albert. Liz loved life, friends and family, pets, cooking, gardening and going out for coffee. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at the Ashern Legion Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. ELIZABETH JANE NORDAL (nee MONKMAN) After a long struggle, Elizabeth Jane Nordal (nee Monkman), aged 72 years of Ashern, MB, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on March 25, 2012 at the Lakeshore General Hospital in Ashern, MB with family by her side. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Ashern Legion Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Grandma I miss you so much you were the only family I had that always welcomed me with open arms no matter my situation. It kills me knowing that you will never get to meet or see your 4th great- grandchild. I'm sure you'll be his/her guardian angel..
