Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I had the pleasure of being Mo's dental hygienist for the past 7 years in St. Albert. I looked forward to his visits and his stories about his life, his wife Jean and his beloved Blue Bombers which I always teased him about being an Eskimo's fan. I will miss his stories, his wit and unwavering sunny disposition. He will be missed by all of us at the office, especially me. - Posted by: Kimberly Royer (Dental Hygienist) on: Apr 10, 2012

  • Sorry for your loss, may your memories bring you comfort. We enjoyed meeting Mo through Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg. He was an inspiration to all with his positive outlook and friendly self. Some of his stories are unforgettable and will live on with this next generation. - Posted by: Sheila Veldhuis () on: Apr 10, 2012

  • Bev and I were saddened to learn of "Mo's" passing today April 7. We were on the road returning from Mexico last weekend and missed the notice last Sat. Mo and Jean were our neighbours on Neptune Bay for 35 years and Mo was a Lodge Brother of mine. Jean, our sincerest condolences to you, as well as Jim and Bill and their families on this great loss of a sterling husband, father and grandfather. I regarded Mo as one of my favourite people and I always enjoyed his company both in Lodge as well as chatting in the back garden. His "story" collection was immense and always elicited a laugh and sometimes a good natured groan. Although not a Scotch drinker himself he always had a glass of "GlenFidget"sic for me. We all missed the Morrisons when they left Neptune Bay and Winnipeg. George - Posted by: George and Beverley Glenday (Friends, Neighbours and Lodge Brother) on: Apr 07, 2012

  • Thanks Jim & Ellen for including our family in get togethers with Mo & Jean. Mo's storytelling and the many laughs we enjoyed, underscore that Murdo was a very gentle soul with a great outlook on life.
