FLORENCE MARGARET GILLIS (nee BRIDGES) June 17, 1918 - March 30, 2012 Margaret Gillis passed away peacefully at River East Personal Care Home. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Harry and later by companion Lloyd Scales, as well as her brother Ray Bridges and sisters Phyllis Duncan and Dorothy Clark. Margaret is survived by her daughter Judy (Will) Frederick of Powell River, and sons Jim (Orla) or Winnipeg, Doug (Wendy) of Edmonton, Ron (Jeanette) of Omaha and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Kay Tutty of Barrie. At Margaret's request no funeral service will be held and cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the staff at River East Personal Care Home, especially those on Faith Lane, for their care and compassion.
