I liked George and in my opionion he was a very good man! I very much valued his friendship, his interest in me personally and the support he provided when I was launching my teaching career. I firmly believe George was instrumental in me getting my first teaching position with St. James-Assiniboia School District, although he never took credit for it. We enjoyed camping, fishing, snowmobiling, water sking and many BBQ's that lasted late into the night (might even include a beverage or two). I liked George, I will miss him and definitely will miss the instant personal connection we had whenever we met. Rest in peace my friend George. - Posted by: Edward Wiebe (Brother-in-law) on: May 11, 2012

Our memories of George are all good. He was a good person to have as a friend. He had a contagious smile and laugh, and it was always there, even when things were not always one hundred percent. We enjoyed our times with him on the golf course, and at your place at the Lake of the Woods. Our only regret - we did not get together enough, especially in these later years. Our deepest sympathy to you Chris, and to all the family. May you find peace in the memories of the great times you have shared with George over the years. Best wishes, Marcel and Louise - Posted by: Marcel and Louise Mollot (Friend) on: Apr 17, 2012
