LYDIA PROPP (SCHNELL) February 13, 1917 - March 25, 2012 Lydia Propp passed away peacefully at Grace General Hospital on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the age of 95. Lydia Liebrecht was born in Rhein, Saskatchewan to a very large family. Left to cherish her memory is her son Bryan (Chris), granddaughters Cheryl (Darryl) and Karen (John) and great-grandsons Evan, Eric and Rylan and great-granddaughter Nora. Lydia is also survived by sisters Florence Schwartz of Winnipeg and Hilda Schwartz of Yorkton, Saskatchewan and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Lydia was predeceased by her first husband Jack Schnell of 38 years and her second husband Eric Propp of two years. Lydia has been predeceased by all her brothers and one sister. Lydia enjoyed watching sports especially baseball. Lydia also enjoyed playing cards, crafts and baking. According to Lydia's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 637 Buckingham Road, Winnipeg.
