I have many fond memories of Ken, when I worked as my dad's secretary. We would always talk of horses. I told Ken, I wanted a horse named "Norman". My dad didn't agree that, that was a good name for a horse, Ken just smiled and said he thought it was a great name. To all the family, take care, my dad and Ken are once again talking over coffee. - Posted by: Margaret Watson (Friend) on: Apr 11, 2012

To Cheryl and Family. My sincere condolences to all of you. I remember when I moved to Vancouver I needed a very old dining room suite refinished. And knowing Ken was the man to do it I called him up. I had a very short time frame and Ken said no problem. To this day the dining room suite is enjoyed. He did an amazing job on it. This suite was my paternal grandparents and now will have even more meaning to me. - Posted by: Donald Watson (friend) on: Apr 09, 2012

We lived near the Diawols for over ten years, as friends and neighbours. Our children played together, and they are still close friends to this day. Ken was always a very gracious man, with a ready smile, a generous nature, and a kind and loving spirit. To have him refinish a piece of furniture for you was to experience a master craftsman at work; beauty and precision in every line. It was very evident to see how proud he was of Cheryl and the girls, and they were a beautiful family to know and spend time with. Ken has left a legacy we all can treasure and be thankful for. Love, strength, and peace to you all. "He didn't tell us how to live...he lived...and let us watch him do it.." -C. Kelland - Posted by: Patricia Thomson(Lindell) (friend, neighbour) on: Apr 09, 2012

Ken was an incredible man of detail. For both my business and personal furniture needs attention to details was impeccable. I met Ken 18 years ago and developed a friendship with him whereby we discussed life and how with a little effort we can all be a better person. Ken's philosphy on life was very profound. Ken will be truly missed. A privilege to have know Ken. - Posted by: Vivian Taylor (Customer) on: Apr 09, 2012

Ken is an amazing, loving, very hard working, patient and a very respected man. Thinking about all the great memories. Going to the horse races and being in pictures with the winning horse, and so many other memories. All of our love to you all! - Posted by: Marty, Tracy & Nicole Rondelez (Cousin) on: Apr 07, 2012
