Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORA JACK (ZAYETS) On Sunday, March 25, 2012 at St. Boniface General Hospital, Teena Jack passed away at the age of 92 years after a brief illness. Teena is survived by her daughter Jane (Greg), son Ken (Sherri), grandchildren Kate, Patrick, Andy, Ellie, and her sister Frances Kisil. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, William Jack, brothers Stephen, Bill, Peter and George Zayets and sister Olga Searcy. Teena was born on June 4, 1919 in Poplarfield, MB. In her youth, she enjoyed summers at Grand Beach where she met her husband, Bill, whom she married in 1954. After his death in 2006, she took pride in continuing to live independently in the home she loved on Sherwood Place, where she had lived all her married life. Mom devoted herself to the raising of her family and her four wonderful grandchildren were the source of her greatest pride and joy. Her family would like to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Suffia Ahmad for years of excellent care and unfailing patience, to Sarah Painter, RN, for her kindness and compassion in Mom's final hours and to longtime good neighbour and friend, Roberta Burns. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a formal service declined. If friends so desire, remembrances of Teena may be made to the Salvation Army (290 Vaughan St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2L9) or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba (120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2).

I will always remember coming over to the house on Sherwood Place to visit with your Mom and Dad and of course, Janie and Kenny. I wish we had kept in touch more over the past years but I have been in Saskatchewan and now BC for the past 12 years and rarely come back to Winnipeg. The last time I saw your Mom was at Victoria Beach a number of years ago and we had a good visit. We will all miss her... - Posted by: Lloyd Searcy (Nephew) on: Apr 08, 2012
