CAITLIN JANE MANCER July 11, 1988 - April 10, 2012 Caitlin died unexpectedly in Burnaby, BC on April 10, 2012 at the age of 23. Caitlin was so many things - a gifted visual artist, an accomplished musician, a person with a deep empathy and understanding for children and animals. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Emily Carr University in May, 2011. She is survived by her loving parents, Kate and Alan, and by her brother Stephen. She is also survived by her grandmother, Lylah Myers of Winnipeg, by aunts, uncles and cousins, her soulmate and friend since kindergarten Loretta Laurin and her dear friend Mike Wilman. If friends so desire a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated, particularly those focused on the visual arts, on children or on animals. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Rest in peace Caitlin. We love you so much.

  • My mum told me today the tragic news. I haven't seen any Mancer for around 15 years. I remember when I was 5 years old and Caitlin joined the Mancer family. For her baby gift my mum had bought her a Precious Moments figurine. I have an amazing memory. I remember visiting the Mancer family in the early 90 s and having a blast with Caitlin and Stephen just goofing around being kids. I remember her loving music and wanting us to all listen.
