Condolences & Memories (20 entries)

  • Sorry but I just found out about his passing. I grew up with Jim and put a few beers down with him. I played a lot of sports at Elmwood winter club with him and had a lot of fun. We went to Tec Voc high school together for 3 years while he took printing and I did my schooling. In that time we both played for the Hornets and had a great time with the team. He was a great punter and running back as we played. Jim I still think of the bus rides from Elmwood to school and back. To the family I know my prayers are with you. - Posted by: Ken Lesperance (Friend) on: Feb 03, 2018

  • You can shed a tear that he is gone Or you can smile because he has lived You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him Or you can be full of the love that you have shared You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday Or you can be happy because of yesterday You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn back Or you can do what he’d want Smile, open your eyes, love and go on. One year ago Jim went to heaven...he is missed, forever loved. He is always near. Love you Jim, I know <3 - Posted by: Wendy (<3) on: Apr 16, 2013

  • Well Big Brother we had the celebration of your life today and you have touch so many people the parking lot was full. I was truly proud of you in what you have accomplished through your journey of life and I don't think you know how much of an impact that you had made. The church hall was full of family and friends that showed how much they loved you as a son, fiance, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and and friend. Wendy and the family did an awesome job and you would be proud of them. As I look back in my life you were not only my brother when I was younger but you were also my father figure. • I am really sorry for your loss. May you find peace. In the summer months when I rode my bike to work - Jim would often pull up beside me and tease me about being too short to reach the pedals - he made my ride to work fun.
