Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROBERT (BOB) ALBERT NESTIE Peacefully on April 13, 2012, Robert (Bob) Albert Nestie, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born on July 3, 1940 in Winnipeg. Predeceased by his mother Margaurite and father Albert Nestie, he will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his loving wife of 52 years, Carole, daughter Cheryl, son Glen (Wanda), brother Norman (Maria), sister Kathy, grandchildren Brayden, Riley and Shelbi, Aunt Nola (Darcy), sister-in-law Jeannette (Paul), as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. We wish to express a special thanks to our church family for all your prayers and visits. Special thanks to Margaret Damnjanovic, Steve and Anne Waschuk, Ruth Comeau and Dave Shuel for your many acts of kindness, and for all the love and support of our family and friends during this difficult time. The family wishes to thank the staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for their care and support. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at Calvary Temple, 440 Hargrave Street in the main sanctuary on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Children's Wish Foundation or Teen Challenge. Interment at Chapel Lawn for immediate family only.
