Gently, in the Arms of Jesus Softly to that Place of Rest Angels came and carried you To that Heaven Blest . Dearest mother, you have left us We will miss your loving ways But your patience, faith and courage We'll remember all our days. We will try, oh loving mother Just to do as you have asked Then we'll meet with you in Heaven Safe in Jesus' arms at last. Forever remembered husband Lawrence, daughter Marilyn (Ernie), grandchildren, Sharleen (James), Gregg (Michelle) and great-grandchildren.

I have known Vivian since my student nurse days at VGH in the 60's. She will be fondly remembered by many in the nursing field and for her commitment to keeping the VGH Alumnae alive and active over the years. My condolences to all of her family.
