LLOYD WILLIAM GREEN December 19, 1929 - April 15, 2012 On Sunday, April 15, 2012 Lloyd William Green, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away. Our kind and gentle soul with the big smile and bigger laugh. Solver of all problems, storyteller, photographer, train fanatic, dog whisperer and baseball expert. Throughout a difficult year and a half he never complained. Lloyd is survived by his wife of 56 years Patricia, daughter Hilary, sons Andrew and Garry (Deb), granddaughters Talia and Emily (and Shandy). Thank you to the staff at Riverview Day Hospital, St. Boniface doctors and nurses, and staff of the ER, Micu and 6E (Shelley you were our angel). Dad you were our hero. Cremation has taken place, and no service will be held. Donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3. He was my grandpa. I haven't seen him since my parents split up when I was quite young. So it may seem inappropriate to be writing a tribute but all I remember of this man is pure goodness.
