Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLEN RUTH COODIN November 13, 1950 - April 20, 2012 On Friday, April 20, 2012, Ellen passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. Harvey Coodin and her parents Sam and Rebecca Stillman. Ellen will be lovingly remembered by her children, Steven (Abby) and Michael (Melanie); longtime partner Myron Selby; grandsons Hartley and Avery Coodin and granddaughter Isabella Coodin; her brother Mark (Lorraine) Stillman; her brother-in-law Saul (Miriam) Coodin and sister-in-law Caroline Cohen; as well as her many nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. Ellen touched many lives, enjoyed travelling and spending time with friends and family. Funeral Services were led by Rabbi Neal Rose at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on April 22, 2012. Pallbearers were Saul Coodin, Shane Coodin, Warren Coodin, Saul Katz, Andrew Krichkowski and David Levene. Honorary pallbearers were Brian Brooker, David Meyrowitz and Gerald Rosenby. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen's memory can be made to the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba.

Wife of the late Dr. Harvey Coodin, mother to Steven (Abby) and Michael (Melanie), long time partner to Myron Selby, Baba to grandsons Hartley and Avery, and granddaughter Isabella. Graveside service 11:30 a.m., Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, Armstrong Ave. and Main St. Longer obituary to follow.

My Heartfelt Condolences to Michael and Melanie. I had a great honour to have met Mrs. Coodin when she toured CMC when Michael started his practice and know that she was ever so proud of her son and all of his accomplishments.
