We were fortunate to be among the many adopted children of Lorne and Patri (as Lorne calls her). Lorne shared with my son his love of birds, music, theatre and history. They exposed him to a wide array of experiences that he would not have otherwise had a chance to experience. During a more difficult time in our lives, they were there to help us through it with much love. Lorne, we will cherish your memory always. Our sincere condolences to you, dear Patricia. xo - Posted by: Diane and Noah St Hilaire (Adopted family) on: May 22, 2012

Lorne will always be in our memories as a member of the Magpies, a thrown together musical individuals who laughed and laughed at our musical ineptitude. That memory has always been in our minds over all these years. We well remember Lorne's sense of humour and his dedication to his employment at CBC and his many in depth interviews. - Posted by: Jack and Eleanora Park (Friends from Edmonton, Alberta) on: May 01, 2012

Lorne, Henry, Coby I and our four families spent many young growing years together. We shared the trials and tribulations of life. The memories are precious and I will always remember Lorne as a pillar of strength, understanding and a gentleman at all times. - Posted by: Bill Burdeyny (Many years of sharing families life) on: May 01, 2012
