MYRNA LOUISE STEVENSON-BLAIR Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, B.C., after a long, hard fought battle with Pancreatitis. Myrna will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted family: husband Lou Blair and son Tyler Stevenson-Blair; her brother Ron (Cheryl) Stevenson; niece Kathy (Scott) Butler, great-niece Sarah (Tim) Butler-Preston, great-great-nephew Carson; great-great-niece Peyton; great-nephew Gary Butler; and, nephew Lorne (Laurell) Stevenson, great-nieces Jaden and Devon, all of B.C. She is also survived by a loving extended family and many close, dear friends. Myrna is predeceased by both parents, Michael and Marjorie Stevenson. Although Myrna was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she spent several years in Alberta, with the majority of her life in B.C. Myrna began her working career as a fashion model and progressed to a very successful business woman until her chosen retirement. The family would like to thank the dedicated medical staff of Lions Gate Hospital for their tireless efforts in caring for our beloved Myrna. In lieu of flowers, please donate, In Memory of Myrna Stevenson-Blair, to a registered medical charity of your choice.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I remember Myrna to be one of the kindest ladies we have even known. She treated everyone with respect and because of this everyone who ever met her really really liked her. We remember when Tyler was born. He was the love of her life and was always so proud of him. She also loved and cared for her parents who you just knew, being so special themselves that this is where she got her compassion. Myrna may you join your parents and know that you are truly loved. - Posted by: Marnie and Gary Brayton (friend from long ago working at the refinery rest.) on: Jul 09, 2012

  • So sorry to hear about your loss. My mother, Janet Scutchings ( Myrna's aunt-my Mom was married to Marge's brother George) also passed away from Pancreatitis. Myrna will live forever in your hearts. - Posted by: Kim Scutchings (cousin living in Winnipeg) on: May 05, 2012
