HERMAN DEITZ February 11, 1922 - April 22, 2012 It is with a heavy heart and infinite sadness that we have lost the patriarch of our family. Herman passed away peacefully in Red Lake, ON on April 22, 2012. Herman just celebrated his 90th birthday party with a party Dad says he will never forget on February 11, 2012. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Sophie on October 16, 2000. He was also predeceased by sisters Gladys, Shirley, and brothers Gordon, Clarence, Glenn, and Clifford. He is survived by son Bob, daughters Sharon Loder (Rick), Sandra Bryan (Barry), only grandson Robb (wife Janelle Kopytko), brothers Ed (Corrine) of Milwaukee, Richard (Donna) of Winnipeg, brother-in-law Alec Lucyzk (Sadie) of Fort Frances, and numerous nephews and nieces. He also leaves Shari Saikkonen who cared for him over the years - he came to consider her another daughter. He left Winnipeg over 30 years ago to take up residence in Red Lake, ON and swore that he would die there. There will be a private service to celebrate Herman's life at a later date. You will be missed Dad and leave a loving family and numerous friends to mourn your passing.
