Dad was born and raised in Berlo, Manitoba. He married the love of his life, Evelyn in 1955 and had four children. In 1979, they left Winnipeg and relocated to B.C. making Kelowna their home. Len started Sun-Oka Transport in 1985, with his sons. He remained active in the company, with his puppies Misty and Goldie always by his side. Len's love for country music found him playing his guitar at many family gatherings. Dad loved collecting classic cars. Mom always got after him saying, when I die, you can fill up the whole damn backyard with your cars, which he did! Len was predeceased by his beloved wife Evelyn in 2008, his parents, Stanley and Lena, brother Jim and wife Louise, brother Dan and brother-in-law Terry. He will be lovingly missed by his children Valerie (Vaughan), Karen (Terry), Bob (Shelley), and Garnet (Corinne). Grandpa leaves cherished memories to his grandchildren, Cory, Kelsey, Tyler, Tanner, Luke, Josh, Travis, Rolen and Riegar. Also survived by his sisters, Leona (Mike) and Dorothy, sister-in-law Doreen, brother Bill (Becky) and many loving nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will take place on Tuesday, May 1 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3625 Paynter Road, West Kelowna. Viewing at 10:00 a.m, Service at 11:00 a.m. Please join us at the luncheon to follow. Thanks Dad for your lifelong love and devotion.
