MARIE ROBERTSHAW With deep sadness we announce the passing of our mom, mom-mom, and gramma on April 25, 2012. Mom was born in Winnipeg, March 20, 1937, she is survived by her children Leslie, Charlie (Mia), Colleen (Paul), Ian (Terry) and grand-children Eric (Sonette), Mathew (Malu), Chris, Dave, Eric, Graham, Scott, Sara, Josh and Evan, great-grandchildren Kale and Lillia, sister Betty, many nieces and nephews, especially Judy who was particularly close to her Aunty, and dear friends Brenda and Alanna. Mom was predeceased by her husband Don, her Dad and Mom, son Larry, and siblings Bob and Ruby (George). When mom was young she was an avid baseball player and loved ice skating. She worked at Great West Life, Home Care and various other jobs. Mom continued to learn, successfully completing a Data Entry course when she was 53, but her greatest joy was looking after her children and grandchildren. She also bonded deeply with all of her pets. Her hobbies included stained glass, refinishing furniture, sewing, gardening, knitting scarves for charity and family, folk painting, watching the birds, outings with family and friends, and especially creating unique nutcrackers for Josh. Mom requested that there be no service, but friends may honour her memory by making a donation to CancerCare Manitoba. Mom is finally with her Lord, and the loved ones she missed so much, but we miss her already.

I've (MARIE'S bus driver-Robert) gotten to know Marie on the Monday morning Safeway shuttle bus throughout the years as her christian bus driver. Marie would always share about Jack Van Impe's program or Pat ROBERTSON'S ministry. Marie had shared about a video that she ordered from Pat Robertson's ministry on HEAVEN with me on the bus just before she went to be with JESUS. We all miss Marie and have great memories of her on the SAFEWAY bus all that her knew. Marie shared about receiving JESUS into her heart and became a believer in Christ---SALVATION IS FREE. Marie had said that she prayed for her family to be saved many times and we shared about forgiving others as Christ has forgiven us our sins. Many good memories are cherished of Marie. - Posted by: Robert maynard (safeway -bus driver ) on: May 12, 2012
