LEONARD WINTER Mr. Leonard Winter, age 63 years, passed away suddenly as his residence in New Bothwell, MB, on Thursday, April 19, 2012. Leonard was born on November 29, 1948, in Port Arthur, ON, to Jacob and Annie Winter. He attended local schools before moving to Manitoba where he pursued a career as a truck driver. Leonard's favourite enjoyment was golf. He is survived by his brother Gordon (Adele); sisters Adeline (Wes) Hunt, Diane Bonazzo and Elizabeth Bernardi; aunt Mary of Manitoba as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Leonard was predeceased by his father in 1970, and mother in 2003. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held in St. Andrew's Cemetery at a later date. Should friends so desire, donations made in memory of Leonard to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
