Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL ANN MCKENTY (BURBRIDGE) 1920 - 2012 After a brief illness, Muriel McKenty died peacefully on Friday, May 4, 2012, surrounded by her family. Muriel McKenty was the devoted wife of Dr. Stewart McKenty. She was predeceased by Stewart and son-in-law Larry. She is survived by her loving daughters and their families Ann (John), Elizabeth and Susan (Lex), her grandchildren in Canada, Ian (Anya), Alex (Cory) and Stephanie (Nelson), in Australia Nicola (Andrew), Benjamin, Oliver, Tristan (Danielle) and Elizabeth (Mark), her nine great-grandchildren, and her caring extended family Robert (Elizabeth) and their children, Margaret (Liz) and Christopher. Born in to a Naval family in the UK, Muriel came to Canada after the war with her first husband Bryon Burbridge. She settled in Winnipeg with her family and worked for many years at the Winnipeg Clinic, where she retired as the Personnel Manager. Following her retirement, she pursued her lifelong interest in travel with her husband Stewart. Muriel enjoyed life to the fullest with a great sense of humour and elegance. She will be remembered for her thoughtful generosity, as well as her pursuit of lively discussions. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends wish, donations in her memory can be made to CNIB or to a charity of their choice. Mrs. McKenty will be missed by all of us at Angles. Grace, Shannon and myself Mike will miss her presence in the shop. She was a very elegant and kind women and was appeciated as a faithful client for many years. We thought that she was or hoping she was going to live forever. We'll miss you Mrs McKenty.
