Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND MICHAEL BODNARCHUK It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Raymond Michael Bodnarchuk. Ray passed away suddenly in the United States on May 1, 2012, at the age of 61. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Doreen, sons Derek and Colin, and numerous family and friends. A memorial will be held in his honour on Saturday, May 12 at 11:30 a.m., with a luncheon to follow at the Stonewall Ag Grounds (little red barn) on the corner of Hwy. 236 and Road 75. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Interlake Rockwood Ag Society, Box 428, Stonewall, MB R0C 2Z0 or the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, 3062 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3K 0Y1.

I consider it a privilege to have known Ray. Having met as junior realtors some 35 years ago, his friendly personality made it very easy to connect beyond the day to day business end of things. While our careers eventually took us on different pathways, we connected again some years later when Ray's High School Driver Training skills succeeded in training Carla and Erin. Thanks for doing the great job you did Ray and for relieving me of that very difficult part in raising girls. I am thrilled that we had an opportunity only a few weeks ago to sit down and chat for a while in Steinbach. As always, Ray's friendly and welcoming personality made it a pleasure and I am grateful for that. Thank you for always being a friend first Ray.
